Panjgur: A Union Councilor was killed in a firing incident in the Panjgur district of Balochistan on Friday.

According to police, unidentified assailants on a motorcycle opened fire on the councilor, fatally wounding him. The victim’s body was quickly shifted to a nearby hospital for post-mortem.

Following the attack, Levies forces reached the scene and launched an investigation into the incident. The motive behind the killing remains unknown, and no arrests have been made so far.

The tragic incident has raised concerns about the safety of local representatives in the district.
