Quetta, May 7, 2025 – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan organized a seminar titled “Role of Students in Eradication of Corruption” at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST), Balochistan Campus, Quetta. The event aimed to raise awareness among youth about the dangers of corruption and to encourage their active role in promoting integrity.

Led by Director Awareness & Prevention Mr. Niaz Hassan, a NAB delegation engaged with students and faculty, highlighting the bureau’s mission and the urgent need to root out corruption in all its forms—such as bribery, nepotism, favoritism, and abuse of power. The speakers emphasized the importance of adopting honesty and self-accountability as core values, reflecting both Islamic principles and national responsibility.

Students were encouraged to become agents of change by rejecting corrupt practices and fostering a culture of transparency. The session ended with a Q&A segment where students raised thoughtful questions, which were addressed by NAB officials.

Brig. Prof. Dr. Mughees Aslam, Dean and Campus Director, appreciated NAB’s awareness efforts and pledged full support for future initiatives. Following the seminar, the NAB team visited university departments and participated in an awareness walk alongside faculty and students. Participants carried placards and banners promoting anti-corruption messages, symbolizing a united stand for accountability.
