Harnai – A tragic landslide claimed the life of a coal miner in Balochistan’s Harnai district on Monday. The victim, identified as 38-year-old Azizullah from Swat, was working deep inside the mine when rocks collapsed onto him.

Rescue teams managed to retrieve his body, which was later transferred to a nearby hospital. Local authorities are investigating the incident and have reminded mine operators of the importance of safety measures to prevent similar accidents.

Harnai’s coal mines, often prone to hazardous conditions, have seen recurrent incidents, raising safety concerns for the miners working in these high-risk environments.
