Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfaraz Bugti commended the bravery of the Balochistan Police and Anti-Terrorism Force (ATF) at the 17th Basic Passing Out Parade held at the ATF Training Center on Tuesday.

In a bold move, Bugti refused to address the audience from behind the bullet-proof dice, declaring, “When I provide bullet-proof vehicles to all our Ghazis, I will also use a bullet-proof dice.”

He highlighted the sacrifices of law enforcement personnel who have risked and lost their lives in the fight against terrorism. “Every act of terrorism is condemnable, and we will uproot these groups targeting innocent citizens, teachers, and lawyers,” he said, calling for national unity to defeat such threats.

Support for Martyrs and Training Enhancements

Bugti announced upgrades for the ATF Training School, including modern thermal cameras, repairs to infrastructure, and the naming of new blocks after martyrs. He assured that the martyrs’ families will not be left alone, adding, “Every Pakistani is responsible for supporting those who sacrificed their lives for the nation.”

The Chief Minister also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to covering the 16-year education expenses for children of civilian and security force martyrs.

IG Police Highlights Advanced Training

Inspector General of Police Balochistan Muazzam Jah Ansari praised the ATF Training School for equipping personnel with advanced skills to combat evolving threats.

The ceremony concluded with Bugti inspecting the parade, distributing awards to top performers, and acknowledging the dedication of the police force.

A Step Towards Safer Balochistan

The event underscored the government’s commitment to empowering law enforcement agencies and fostering peace in Balochistan. With enhanced resources and training, the ATF and Balochistan Police are poised to strengthen security across the province.
