Education Desk:

Quetta: The teaching and non-teaching staff of the University of Balochistan have yet to receive their salaries and pensions, even during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to the Academic Staff Association, including its president, Professor Dr. Kaleemullah Bareech, employees have been deprived of their rightful payments while federal and provincial government employees have already received their salaries along with bonuses. The university staff are still awaiting their December 2024 salaries, further deepening their financial hardships.

The employees’ unions have urged the government to resolve the financial crisis and ensure timely payment of salaries and pensions.
