Qaseem Shah:

Quetta, March 17: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfaraz Bugti has announced that the first group of selected youth under the Chief Minister Youth Skills Development Program is set to travel abroad for employment. Speaking at a visa and document handover ceremony, he expressed his satisfaction, stating that the initiative is opening dignified job opportunities for unemployed youth who were previously disillusioned and distant from the state.

“It is a moment of pride that the first batch of Balochistan’s youth is heading abroad for employment,” CM Bugti said, adding that these individuals will serve as ambassadors of Pakistan and Balochistan. He urged them to work with dedication and integrity, warning against any actions that could tarnish the country’s reputation.

Highlighting the government’s commitment to empowering the youth, CM Bugti stressed, “We have decided to bring our youth closer to the state by providing them with better opportunities. Restoring their trust in the system through merit and good governance is our priority.”

The chief minister pointed out the distinct challenges faced by Balochistan’s youth, emphasizing that unemployment often pushes them towards anti-state elements. “Unlike other provinces, joblessness here has serious repercussions. We are addressing this by providing education and development opportunities,” he added.

CM Bugti directed authorities to ensure that all remaining selected candidates are sent abroad by June. He also acknowledged Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for appreciating the program’s objectives.

Concluding his address, the chief minister urged the youth to work diligently and represent their homeland with pride.
