Punjab: A shocking incident has emerged from Taunsa Shareef, Punjab, where nearly 43,000 books were stolen from a government school. The theft has raised serious concerns about the security of educational institutions and the growing issue of book theft in Pakistan.

Local residents reported seeing loaded rickshaws moving around the school premises during nighttime, which aroused suspicion. Authorities believe that the books were transported in these vehicles. The incident came to light when school officials discovered a significant portion of the library’s collection missing.

Following the reports, law enforcement agencies launched an investigation. Authorities are questioning individuals who were present near the school at the time of the theft. The Deputy Commissioner (DC) DG Khan has assured that strict action will be taken against those responsible, and efforts are underway to recover the stolen books.
