QUETTA: The Directorate General of Balochistan Levies Force has dismissed 15 Levies personnel from service with immediate effect over gross misconduct, indiscipline, and unauthorized absence from critical security duties during Pakistan Railways operations.

According to an official notification issued on April 18, 2025, by Director General Abdul Ghaffar Magsi, the dismissed personnel were posted for security duties from Quetta to Jaffarabad but failed to report without providing any valid reason or obtaining prior permission from the competent authority.

The notification further states that the accused Levies personnel—belonging to districts Sibi, Surab, Khuzdar, Kech, Turbat, and Panjgur—also disobeyed lawful orders and created an environment of insubordination by influencing others not to follow directives from the competent authority.

The dismissed individuals served in the SSEPU and CPEC wings of the Levies Force. The decision was made under Rule-4(1)(b)(iv) of the Balochistan Levies Force Disciplinary Rules 2015, citing serious violations of discipline and conduct.

Among those dismissed are Khaliq Dad, Zaheer Ahmed, Gul Muhammad, Yasir Ahmed, Zahid Ahmed, and Sajid Ali, among others.

The notification also instructs the concerned accounts departments to immediately stop the monthly salaries and allowances of the dismissed personnel.

This move is part of the Balochistan Levies Force’s broader effort to enforce discipline and accountability within its ranks, especially during high-risk assignments like CPEC-related operations and railway security.
