ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – In a significant development, Justice Rozi Khan Bareech has been appointed as the new Chief Justice of the Balochistan High Court, following formal approval by the Judicial Commission of Pakistan. His appointment marks a notable moment in the province’s judicial landscape, as he steps into a leadership role at a time of increasing focus on institutional reform and provincial legal matters.
In addition to Justice Rozi Khan, the Commission has also approved the appointments of new Chief Justices for three other High Courts across the country:
- Justice Sarfraz Dogar has been appointed as Chief Justice of the Islamabad High Court,
- Justice Junaid Ghaffar will serve as the Chief Justice of the Sindh High Court,
- And Justice Atiq Shah has been elevated as the Chief Justice of the Peshawar High Court.
The appointments come as part of a broader judicial reshuffle aimed at ensuring efficient judicial leadership and improved delivery of justice in all provinces. Legal analysts believe the new appointments are expected to strengthen the judicial framework at the provincial level and contribute to faster resolution of pending cases.
Official notifications for these appointments are expected to be issued soon by the Ministry of Law after the formal nod from the President of Pakistan.
