Jiye Sindh Mahaz Backs Balochistan’s Fight for Rights and Resources

QUETTA (Web Desk) — In a significant development reflecting growing inter-provincial solidarity, Jiye Sindh Mahaz Chairman Riaz Ali Chandio has extended full support to Balochistan’s struggle for control over its natural resources and constitutional rights. This declaration came during a telephonic conversation with senior Baloch leader and former senator Nawabzada Haji Mir Lashkari Khan Raisani.

The two nationalist leaders expressed serious concern over the systematic exploitation of Sindh and Balochistan’s natural resources, including gas, oil, coal, and water from the Indus River, and called for a unified movement to reclaim provincial rights.

“The people of Sindh stand shoulder to shoulder with their Baloch brothers in this just cause,” said Chandio. “Jiye Sindh Mahaz will play a proactive role in this national struggle.”

Raisani welcomed the support from Sindh’s nationalist leadership, stressing that “puppet assemblies imposed on Sindh and Balochistan have stolen the future and prosperity of both provinces.” He warned that corporate and multinational exploitation now targeting Balochistan must be halted through joint resistance.

“If we fail to act now, our next generations will be reduced to mere laborers in multinational corporations, robbed of dignity and development,” Raisani added.

The leaders agreed that the unity of Sindhi and Baloch political movements is essential to counter ongoing injustices and to preserve the rights, resources, and identity of both provinces.
