Education Desk:
In a major step towards transparency and merit-based recruitment, the Balochistan Education Department has dismissed several employees found to have secured jobs through fake academic degrees.
According to the official notification, candidates whose educational credentials are proven to be forged will not only lose their jobs but will also be required to return all salaries and benefits received during their service. Additionally, such individuals will face legal action and will be barred from applying for any government position for the next five years.
The department has also directed strict verification of academic documents in future recruitments to ensure that only deserving and qualified candidates enter government service.
This development is being hailed as a crucial measure to uphold merit and curb corruption in the hiring process. Observers believe the move will restore public confidence in government institutions and discourage fraudulent practices in Balochistan’s job market.
