Officials also shared updates on a proposed domicile certificate system for Balochistan, which has been formally submitted for provincial approval.

The meeting further reviewed progress on the National Biometric Policy Framework, underscoring the importance of stronger coordination between federal and provincial institutions to modernize the registration system and improve data accuracy.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti appreciated NADRA’s ongoing initiatives and emphasized expanding access to registration services in remote areas. He highlighted the need to scale up satellite-enabled mobile registration units to reach underserved populations, calling them essential for improving citizen documentation coverage.

The chief minister also assured full cooperation for establishing new NADRA centers, along with the provision of biometric infrastructure and fiber-based connectivity at the union council level to strengthen service delivery across Balochistan.
