Quetta : An important consultative meeting on national austerity measures was held in Quetta under the chairmanship of Mir Sarfraz Bugti. The meeting was attended by parliamentary leaders of allied parties as well as opposition members of the provincial assembly.

During the session, a detailed discussion was held on Balochistan’s future strategy in light of the prevailing global and regional situation. The Chief Minister took all political stakeholders into confidence and emphasized alignment with federal government guidelines regarding austerity measures.

All parliamentary parties unanimously agreed on implementing effective and coordinated measures across the province. The meeting stressed the prudent use of petroleum products, optimal utilization of available resources, and reduction of unnecessary expenditures.

Mir Sarfraz Bugti stated that timely and effective decision-making is essential in the current economic climate. He reaffirmed the commitment to ensuring economic stability through collective consultation and to providing maximum relief to underprivileged segments of society.

He further emphasized that amid rising global inflation, delivering relief to the public remains the government’s top priority, and practical, effective strategies are being adopted to tackle ongoing challenges.
