News Desk: A major health initiative has officially begun in Balochistan with the support of the Chinese government, aimed at improving maternal and newborn healthcare facilities. The project will upgrade medical services across 100 health centers in seven districts of the province, marking a significant step toward strengthening maternal and child care systems and ensuring quality healthcare for the public.

 

Chief Minister Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, praised China’s cooperation, describing the project as a shining example of Pak‑China friendship and mutual collaboration. He emphasized that the initiative reflects the strong ties between the two nations and will prioritize the health and well‑being of mothers and infants.

 

Bugti reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to utilizing all available resources to bring substantial improvements in the health sector. He noted that Pak‑China friendship is a guarantee of development and prosperity, with joint efforts providing facilities in health and other sectors.

 

The Chief Minister expressed determination to expand the scope of such projects so that more citizens can benefit, paving the way for Balochistan’s progress and stability.
