News Desk: The National Party has reaffirmed its commitment to defending the rights and resources of Balochistan, warning that no compromise will be made amid the province’s ongoing political and security challenges.

Speaking at a party meeting in Turbat, party president and former chief minister Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch and senior leader Senator Jan Muhammad Baloch stressed that lasting peace in Balochistan can only be achieved through dialogue and reconciliation, not force.

The leaders criticized the role of the Parliament of Pakistan, claiming it has failed to effectively represent elected voices. They also alleged that the mandates of nationalist parties were undermined, worsening political instability in the province.

During the session, local party representatives discussed organizational issues and the wider political situation. The leadership raised concerns over electoral interference, saying it has weakened public trust in democratic institutions.

Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch criticized the federal government’s approach, stating that treating Balochistan like a colony is deepening its problems. He emphasized the importance of respecting the public mandate and ensuring political inclusion.

Senator Jan Muhammad Baloch reiterated that force is not a solution and called for meaningful negotiations with political stakeholders to restore confidence in democracy and achieve sustainable peace.

Other speakers, including retired Justice Shakeel Ahmed Baloch, District President Younis Javed, Turbat Mayor Balkh Sher Qazi, Tehsil President Tariq Babal, and Bahram Musa, also addressed the meeting, focusing on party organization and regional political challenges.
