News Desk: The Quetta District Police has completed the recruitment of 349 new personnel, including 44 women and seven minorities, to strengthen security and law enforcement in the provincial capital.
According to a police spokesperson, 298 men were recruited under the general quota, while 44 women were selected under the women’s quota and seven candidates under the minority quota.
The spokesperson said merit and transparency were maintained throughout the recruitment process to ensure the selection of eligible and qualified candidates.
The addition of 349 new personnel is expected to enhance Quetta Police’s manpower and operational capacity, particularly in maintaining law and order, preventing crime and protecting citizens.
The police department said it would continue to focus on merit-based recruitment and strengthening its workforce to improve public safety and security in Quetta.
