Sadiq Sanjrani leaves for Islamabad as BAP battle enters a decisive phase

Chairman Senate, Sadiq Sanjrani has left for Islamabad without breaking the existing deadlock within the ruling Balochistan Awami Party (BAP). Mr. Sanjrani met with the disgruntled speaker of Balochistan Assembly, Qudoos Bizenjo at his residence on Sunday evening.
“So far, no breakthrough has been made”, sources close to Mr. Sanjrani told Quetta Voice via telephone. They said the situation is going to be clear within the next 72 hours. “Next 72 hours crucial”, the mentioned.
Senator Sarfaraz Bugti, Senator Naseebullah Bazai, Senator Manzoor Kakar, Senator Abdul Qadir, and Chief Organizer of the BAP, Jan Muhammad Jamali also accompanied the Chairman Senate.
The members of the reconciliatory committee offered fateha for the departed soul of the uncle of Mir Qudoos Bizenjo. Sanjrani discussed the prevailing political situation with the Speaker and spent more than two hours with him.
CM Jam Kamal meets 6 angry BAP members
Chief Minister Balochistan Jam Kamal Khan also held meetings with the disgruntled members. “Today, I met 6 BAP offended MPAs in a very good atmosphere and InshaAllah solve all”, the CM announced on social media network Twitter.
Jam Kamal visited the residence of finance minister, Mir Zahoor Buledi, Lala Rasheed and others to end the deadlock.
There was no immediate response on the part of the disgruntled members. Speaker Bizenjo, provincial ministers Zahoor Buledi, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Bushra Rind, Mahjabeen Sheran and others have expressed reservations against CM Balochistan. They have demanded of Jam Kamal Khan to step down as the CM of the province.
CM continues to resist the pressure
However, Jam Kamal Khan continues to resist the pressure and meet lawmakers from the government, allies, and opposition to seek their support. The Core Committee of the ruling party has also expressed serious concern over differences within the party and decided to convene the executive committee meeting.
The committee has endorsed the resignation of Jam Kamal Khan as the President of the BAP.
