PMC registers all 600 medical students of Balochistan

PMC approves registration of three medical colleges of Balochistan

QUETTA: Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) has approved the registration of three medical colleges in Balochistan on Tuesday. The colleges include Loralai, Mekran, and Jhalawan.

“PMC approves registration of colleges after recent inspection”, Noor ul Haq Baloch, the Secretary of Health Balochistan told Quetta Voice. Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and Pak Army played a key role in the registration of all three medical colleges of Balochistan, an official handout issued here said.

Medical institutions were made functional since 2018 in Balochistan. However, the PMC had not approved their registration. The government of Balochistan had taken effective measures to make the colleges functional in the province. Currenlty, over 600 students are enrolled in these colleges.

The government of Balochistan has thanked the PMC for granting approval of registration to three medical colleges.
