New year 2022: Quetta police warn citizens against aerial firing

Quetta police have warned citizens against aerial firing on the eve of the new year 2022. In a statement issued on Wednesday night, police have warned that stern action would be taken against the citizens resorting to aerial firing on the eve of 2022.
Most of the people in Quetta and other parts of the country start aerial firing on the occasion of the new year. The accused would be punished and a fine would be imposed against them, Quetta police stated. Aerial firing has claimed scores of precious human lives in Quetta and other parts of the country. Hospitals have also been put on high alert to meet any kind of emergency situation.
Inform the police of 15 helplines in the case of aerial firing
As a responsible citizen inform 15 police madadgar in the case of any aerial firing in the city, police informed. Police have also chalked out a comprehensive strategy to tackle the situation. Thousands of policemen have been deployed in Quetta city to maintain the law and order situation in the province. “We have established teams to monitor the situation”, Syed Fida Hassan Shah, the Deputy Inspector General of Police said. He said none would be allowed to take the law into his hands.
Thousands take to roads and streets on the eve of new year
Thousands of people take to the roads and streets to celebrate the new year. Especially, the city witnesses worst traffic jam as youngsters throng towards main areas of the city. Tourists also go to Ziarat, Balochistan’s famous tourist point to celebrate the new year. Security has also been tightened in Ziarat to avert any untoward incident on the eve of the new year in Ziarat and surrounding areas. Baton-wielding policemen were deployed in the city to maintain order.
