QUETTA: Around 10,000 Zaireen have entered from Iran into Pakistan since February 22nd this year. This information was given by Liaquat Shahwani, the Spokesman government of Balochistan while addressing a press conference on Friday evening.
Mr. Shahwani however informed that 128 Zaireen were tested positive for the novel coronavirus. Remaining Zaireen would be airlifted from Iran, he mentioned. Pakistan had closed its border with Iran at Taftan after the outbreak of novel coronavirus in the neighboring country.
About the sacred month of Ramaz ul Mubarak, the Spokesman government of Balochistan said that all registered Mosques would be provided financial assistance package. However, all prayer leaders have been asked to follow standard operating procedures regarding Taraweeh and Friday prayers, Mr. Shahwani told daily Quetta Voice the other day.
About the financial assistance to deserving and needy families, the spokesman government of Balochistan informed that over 125,000 families have been provided ration/ foodstuff by the government in Quetta and other districts of the province. He said Pak Army, charity organizations, non-governmental organizations have also distributed food among the needy and deserving people in the aftermath of the outbreak of coronavirus.
