Missing persons report to be presented before IHC: Akhtar Mengal

QUETTA: Chief of Balochistan National Party (BNP), Sardar Akhtar Mengal on Tuesday said the report about missing persons from the province would be presented before the Islamabad High Court (IHC). Sardar Akhtar Mengal, the BNP Chief and Member National Assembly (MNA), Afrasiab Khattak and other high-ups visited the camp of missing persons outside the Quetta Press Club.

Speaking on the occasion, Sardar Mengal stated that the commission has held seven meetings since October 18th this year. “I feel the pain of families of missing persons”, the BNP Chief stated. He said the family members of the missing persons have organized rallies and hunger camps to mount pressure on the rulers to ensure the recovery of their relatives.

Mama Qadeer and Nasrullah Baloch briefed the BNP Chief about the missing person cases. BNP Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal also met members of the legal fraternity at the Balochistan High Court (BHC) regarding the missing person cases in the province.
