QUETTA: The novel coronavirus cases have reached 1,172 in Balochistan on Saturday. Spokesman government of Balochistan, Liaquat Shahwani has confirmed 36 fresh cases of the virus including 35 from Quetta and 1 from Ziarat district.

The virus has affected 13 districts of Balochistan so far. The number of locally transmitted cases has risen to 1021, Mr. Shahwani said in a statement issued to the press on Saturday night. Most of the cases have been reported from Quetta, the provincial capital, and Pishin district of Balochistan.
