Police claimed to have arrested an accused involved in the murder of nine people inlcuding a police assistant sub inspector (ASI) from Killa Saifullah district of Balochistan. “The accused was involved in the martyrdom of our ASI”, Syed Saboor Agha, the Superintendent of Police Dukki told reporters on Thursday evening. Mr. Agha informed that the accused identifed as Karim Nawaz was also wanted in eigh murders in the Barkhan district of Balochistan.
“We arrested him from Killa Saifullah district”, the SP said. He said senior police officers were interrogating the accused in connection with the murder of police ASI and eigh other people in the Barkhan district of Balochistan. He said police also obtained physcial remand of the accused from the anti terrorist court.
This arrest has come two days after a plice ASI Muhammad Saleem was martyred in a firing incident in Dukki district of Balochistan. “Our policemen ensured an immediate arrest of the culprit soon after the martyrdom of our ASI”, the SP concluded.
