QUETTA: Caretaker Chief Minister Balochistan, Ali Mardan Domki was disappointed after witnessing the miserable condition of the province’s largest government-run hospital on Tuesday. “I am disappointed to see the condition of the hospital and plight of patients”, Mr. Domki told reporters after his maiden visit to the hospital after assuming the charge of caretaker CM of Balochistan.
The caretaker CM visited various wards and interacted with patients lying on the beds in the hospital. He assured the patients that all out efforts would be made to address the issues of patients and medical staff.

“I warn every doctor and health professional to ensure presence in the hospital”, the caretaker CM Balochistan stated. He directed the hospital medical superintendent and other concerned staff to facilitate the masses and make sure the provision of better health facilities to the patients.
“I will be paying random and surprise visits to hospitals”, the caretaker CM announced. He said he would pay visits to hospitals across Balochistan and action would be taken against the absent doctors and other health professionals.
The MS of the BMC hospital Dr. Fareed Sumalani briefed the visiting CM about the issues faced by the hospital administration and the efforts in this regard. He said the administration was trying to serve the patients despite all odds and limited resources.
CM directs his MS to address the grievances of patients
The caretaker CM directed the Principal Secretary, Lal Jan Jaffar to note the issues of the hospital and issue directives to the concerned quarters in this regard. Strict security measures were adopted by the administration on the eve of the visit of the caretaker CM Balochistan.
This visit has come a day after a five-member Balochistan’s caretaker cabinet was sworn in on Monday evening at the Governor’s House. The health portfolio is yet to be awarded to any minister in Balochistan.
