QUETTA: In a strategic move gearing up for the upcoming elections, the Balochistan government has initiated a major administrative reshuffle, targeting 20-grade secretaries and DG-rank officers stationed across the province. The Election Commission of Pakistan has given the green light to these crucial transfers, setting the stage for a significant shift in the province’s bureaucratic landscape.

The Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) presented a comprehensive summary to the Election Commission, which received unanimous approval. Some of the notable appointments and transfers include:

  1. Sohailur Rehman Baloch as Secretary of Agriculture.
  2. Imran Khan as Secretary Information.
  3. Hashim Nadeem as Secretary of Culture.
  4. Qambar Dashti as Secretary of Communication and Works (C&W).
  5. Tayab Lehri as Secretary Livestock.
  6. Abdul Lateef Kakar was appointed as SMBR 2.
  7. Wali Bareech as Under Secretary Planning and Development (UP&D).
  8. Syed Sikander Shah as Secretary of Social Welfare.
  9. Ayaz Mandokhail as Secretary IT.
  10. Sardar Khan Bugti as Secretary of Women Welfare.
  11. Wali Kakar as Secretary PHE.
  12. Saleh Baloch as Secretary Food.
  13. Mujeeb ur Rehman appointed as MD BPPRA.
  14. Kaleemullah Babar as Secretary of Parliamentary Affairs Law.
  15. Zafar Buledi as Secretary of Higher Education.
  16. Abdul Khaliq Mandokhail as Secretary Labour.
  17. Rashid Razak as Secretary Planning.
  18. Tariq Mengal was appointed as DG of Social Welfare.
  19. Captain R Javed as Chairman BDA.
  20. Deer Shah Ghalzai as DG BCDA.
  21. Younas Sanjrani as DG Fisheries.
  22. Manzoor Hussain was appointed as Member CMIT.
  23. Manzoor Zehri as Temporary Member CMIT.

Additionally, the Balochistan government has already executed transfers of Deputy Commissioners and Assistant Commissioners across all districts.
