The Balochistan health department has confirmed 147 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Thursday as the tally reached 3,928. The province has confirmed 43 deaths caused by the COVID19.
However, 1,354 patients have recovered from the virus in the province since the outbreak of the pandemic. Most of the patients have recovered at their homes while battling the virus.
“We conducted 441 tests of corona virus on Thursday and out of them 147 were declared positive”, Waseem Baig, the Spokesman for the Corona Cell Balochistan said in a daily situation report released to the press.
So far, the Balochistan health department has conducted 22, 641 tests of coronavirus. However, the government plans to enhance the testing capacity to reach out to far-flung areas of the province.
