ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (N) supremo, Mian Nawaz Sharif called on Maulana Fazal ur Rehman, the Chief of Jamiat ul Ulema e Islam (JUI) on Tuesday. The two leaders discussed the prevailing political situation in the country.
Former Prime Minister, Shehbaz Sharif and other central leaders of the PML N also accompanied Nawaz Sharif. Sources within the JUI told Daily Quetta Voice, that the PML N supremo discussed the fast-approaching general elections with the Maulana.
Central leaders of the JUI were also present during the meeting. This is the first formal meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Maulana Fazal ur Rehman since the return of the former premier to Pakistan.
