QUETTA: A seven-day anti-polio campaign has been launched today in 35 districts of Balochistan and 42 union councils of Quetta, according to the Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

The campaign will extend to the remaining 18 union councils of Quetta from Tuesday. The province has set a target to vaccinate over 2.6 million children against polio. More than 11,000 teams are actively participating in the drive to ensure maximum coverage.

Authorities have urged parents to cooperate with health workers and get their children vaccinated to eradicate polio from Balochistan.
