Naseerabad – Deputy Commissioner Naseerabad, Captain (R) Zulfiqar Ali Karrar, along with Executive Engineer C&W (Roads & Buildings) Abdul Rehman Khan Kakar, conducted a detailed visit to various ongoing and completed development projects under the Buildings and Roads (B&R) Department in the district.
During the visit, the Deputy Commissioner received briefings on the progress of construction work, development activities, and issues being faced. Expressing satisfaction over the ongoing developmental process, he directed that despite insufficient fund releases, all work must be completed on time and with high quality. He emphasized that all projects should be completed strictly according to their PC-1 specifications so the public can truly benefit from government development initiatives.
The Deputy Commissioner inspected several blacktop road and building projects, including the Commissioner Office, DIG House to WAPDA Colony Road, Irrigation Colony Blacktop Road, Pehnur Bridge to Nazim Dip Road, Mir Hassan–Rabee Three Road, Khan Muhammad Mengal Road, Arslan Khan Road, Waheed Mengal Road, and others. He also reviewed progress on the Working Women Hostel, Mir Hassan Pat Feeder Canal Bridge, District Attorney Office and Residence, New Hospital, Fareed Khan Umrani School, Paramedics Flats, and multiple building schemes.
Executive Engineer Kakar informed the Deputy Commissioner that some projects were delayed due to lack of funds; however, the department is committed to completing all schemes as soon as possible for public benefit.
The Deputy Commissioner issued strict instructions for the immediate construction of the slab at Mir Hassan Road Pat Feeder Bridge, noting that the delay was causing significant inconvenience to the public. He stated that the completion of blacktop roads would greatly improve travel facilities for residents.
He further added that in line with directives from the Chief Minister and Chief Secretary of Balochistan, the district administration will utilize all available resources to ensure that development projects are completed with full adherence to quality standards. Engineers were directed to personally supervise the works and ensure no negligence occurs, as public expectations from these projects are high.
The Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed that completion of development schemes is essential and that he will continue to conduct regular visits to review progress.
