QUETTA: Pakistan has closed its border with Iran after reports of deaths caused by the deadly Corona Virus in neighboring Iran on Sunday morning. Home Minister Balochistan, Ziaullah Langove said the border was closed temporarily by the government in view of corona virus related deaths in Iran.
“Yes, the border has been closed and we are closely monitoring the situation”, he told Quetta Voice.
Zaireen movement banned after Corona Virus claims four lives in Iran
Balochistan government has already imposed ban on the entry of Shia pilgrims from Pakistan into Iran in the aftermath of corona virus deaths in Iran. The home department has been directed by the Balochistan government to coordinate with other provinces with regard to Zaireen movement. Spokesman government of Balochistan, Liaqat Shahwani also said that in Iran there were still a large number of Zaireen from Pakistan.
