    Over 1,400 female teachers have been protesting for the issuance of permanent orders for the last more than two weeks. The protesting teachers had ended their strike outside Quetta Press Club following an assurance by the Balochistan education minister, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind. Over 1,400 female teachers recruited through GPE in Balochistan Over 1,400 female teachers recruited through a testing service under the GPE project during 2015. Under the agreement, the Balochistan government had agreed to make around 1,000 girls’ schools functional and regularize the teachers.
