Chaman: border with Afghanistan closed after Taliban take over Spin Boldak

CHAMAN: Pakistan has launched screening of people at Pak-Afghan border Chaman to halt possible spread of Corona Virus from neighboring Afghanistan. Medical teams have been deployed at the friendship gate at Pak-Afghan border Chaman. However, the border has not been sealed so far.

Pakistan has already closed its border with neighboring Iran after the deadly virus claimed 14 lives and affecting dozens of people. The virus has spread across the globe, first case has been reported from Greece as Italy struggles to contain the outbreak.

Without screening nobody is being allowed to enter into Pakistan, a health officer who declined to be named told Quetta Voice. People are being thoroughly screened by health teams deployed at the border, he said.
