Veteran Baloch nationalist leader, Dr. Hayee Balooch was laid to rest in his native town Bhag Chalgari on Saturday. Dr. Baloch died in a traffic accident near Faisalabad on Friday.
In the funeral prayer, a large number of political leaders, activists, students and people belonging to various walks of life participated. Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr. Malik Baloch, parliamentary leader Awami National Party (ANP), Asghar Khan Achakzai, Malik Wali Kakar of Balochistan National Party (Mengal), Mir Changaiz Jamali, the President Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and others participated in the funeral prayer.

The dead body of the late Baloch nationalist leader was brought from Faisalabad in an ambulance. Baloch nationalist workers paid rich tribute to the late leader.
Speaking on the occasion, the political leaders said that the late Dr. Baloch spent his whole life for the acquisition of Baloch rights. They prayed that may Allah bless the departed soul and give patience to the family members.
