QUETTA: Pakistan Customs seized 67 non-customs paid vehicles in Balochistan’s Nokundi near the Iranian border on Monday morning. Dr. Atta Muhammad Bareech, the Spokesman of Customs said the Customs seized 67 vehicles worth Rs.36 crore, fertilizers and sugar during the operation.
Chief Collector Customs Balochistan Abdul Qadir Memon and on the instructions of Collector Enforcement Quetta Samiul Haque Customs Enforcement under the supervision of Additional Collector Enforcement Moin Afzal Ali Assistant Collector Shafiullah and Superintendent Asif Zaman, during various operations, seized 67 non-customs paid vehicles in addition to 2,000 kg of sugar and 13,000 kg of fertilizer, Mr. Bareech informed.
Legal action has been initiated against unknown traffickers. The market value of the impounded vehicles and equipment is around Rs 36 crore.
