The Balochistan police completed the recruitment of 290 women and 71 minorities to empower the women segment of society. Balochistan minority affairs minister, Khalil Goerge, Inspector General of Police Abdul Khaliq Sheikh, former speaker Balochistan Assembly Rahila Durrani, and other high-level police officers were also present on the occasion.

The Balochistan police have launched the recruitment of women to make sure empowerment of women and address their issues on a priority basis. The Balochistan government has also decided to establish women’s police centers in Naseerabad, Turbat, and other parts of Balochistan to ensure timely justice for women and address their grievances.

IG Balochistan said that you have more responsibility than men and you will have to work hard to make your place in the police force. Don’t limit yourself to policing, but demonstrate your professional skills like an active policeman.

On this occasion, IG Balochistan encouraged the women police officers and ordered to give them a cash reward of Rs. 25,000. During the ceremony, IG Balochistan distributed posting orders to the new recruits, after which commemorative shields were presented to the guests at the end of the ceremony.
