News Desk:
QUETTA – In a major counter-terrorism breakthrough, the Assistant to the Chief Minister on Media and Political Affairs, Shahid Rind announced that security forces have neutralized more than 35 terrorists and captured three high-profile commanders during an ongoing operation in the Mangla Zarghoon Ghar region.
The intelligence-based operation, which began on May 13, has dealt a severe blow to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and associated proxy networks. Multiple militant hideouts, training camps, and logistics bases have been completely dismantled.

High-Profile Arrests Yield Critical Intelligence

Speaking on the strategic successes of the operation, Shahid Rind—the Assistant to the Chief Minister of Balochistan for Political and Media Affairs—revealed that the capture of the three senior commanders has shifted the momentum heavily in favor of the state.
”The arrest of these three key commanders has provided our agencies with highly critical, actionable intelligence,” Shahid Rind stated. “Based on their disclosures, further targeted operations are already underway. We are rapidly tightening the noose around the facilitators, handlers, and financial backers of these terror elements.”
Rind noted that the operation has successfully disrupted networks affiliated with what the government designates as ‘Fitna-al-Hindustan’ and ‘Fitna-al-Khawarij’, cutting off critical operational lines.

Government Vows No Compromise on Security

The provincial spokesperson emphasized that the State of Pakistan will not back down until terrorism is entirely rooted out of the province. He made it clear that those attempting to sabotage Balochistan’s economic progress and hard-earned peace will face the full weight of the law.
”Our security forces and law enforcement agencies are fighting with immense courage and professional skill to defeat the enemy’s sinister designs,” Shahid Rind said, adding that the operation is a vital necessity for the long-term peace, stability, and supreme national interest of the country.

A Call for Public Solidarity

With operations still actively wrapping up in the rugged terrain of Mangla Zarghoon Ghar, Rind appealed to the local population to stand firmly with law enforcement.
He urged citizens to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity, emphasizing that public cooperation is essential to winning the war against militancy. “The enemy is actively trying to disrupt Balochistan’s path toward development, but the entire nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with our brave armed forces,” he concluded.
