Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Nawab Muhammad Aslam Raisani has threatened to join students protest if Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) failed to address the test issue of students.
The Commission held an important meeting to discuss the ongoing hunger till death strike of students in Islamabad. Chief Secretary Balochistan, Mathar Niaz Rana presented the case of students and made it clear that students would not appear in special test of PMC. Secretary Health Balochistan, Noor ul Haq Baloch, principals of medical colleges and PMC officials participated in the meeting.
Former CM Nawab Raisani lashed out at the Commission for what he asserted depriving students from education, sources in the health department said.
“I will join students ongoing hunger strike if PMC did not address their grievances”, the sources quoted the former CM.
Medical students protesting for last three months

Medical students of three colleges of Balochistan including Jhalawan, Mekran and Loralai have been protesting against the Commission for last more three months. The PMC had asked the students to re appear in the special test.
The PMC meeting on Tuesday thoroughly discussed the students ongoing protest. Participants of the meeting decided to hold another meeting after ten days in this regard.
The hunger strike of students entered fifth day on Tuesday.
