Malik Baloch’s passionate appeal to youth of Balochistan

QUETTA: Former Chief Minister Balochistan, Dr. Malik Baloch has made a passionate appeal to the youth of the province to study. “I appeal our young generation to study and study”, Dr. Baloch said during his visit to Shaheed Baz Muhammad Digital Library on Thursday.

The former chief minister visited various sections of the library built in Quetta’s Shehbaz town area. The patron-in-chief of the library, Dr. Laal Khan Kakar, Abdul Mateen Akhundzada, and other members received the former CM who also heads the National Party (NP).

Curse of narcotics ruined our society 

“Today the curse of narcotics ruined our society in the general and young generation in particular”, Dr. Malik Baloch said. He urged the youth to stay away from the curse of narcotics and focus on their studies to meet the growing challenges of the modern era.

“Your act of today determines your tomorrow”, he said. He said the youth of Balochistan had the potential and commitment to compete on national and international levels. They have to be provided space, he mentioned.

Dr Baloch pays rich tribute to martyred lawyers

Dr Baloch paid rich tribute to the lawyers’ martyrs of the deadliest August 8, 2016 carnage. “We will never fulfil this vacuum as we lost a generation of lawyers”, he added. The NP Chief said all martyred lawyers were playing an extremely crucial role in the development and prosperity of the country and nation.

Dr Laal Khan Kakar thoroughly briefed the visiting Baloch nationalist leader about the library and the keen interest of students hailing from various parts of the province. Dr Kakar said despite all odds, the library was a good forum for the committed and deserving students of the province to compete on national and international levels.
