Prime Minister Imran Khan has paid tribute to the security forces for fending off terrorist attacks in Balochistan’s Noshki and Panjgur districts. The Premier took to social media network Twitter and appreciated the bravery of soldiers who sacrificed their lives for repulsing terror attacks in the country’s largest province in terms of area.
Panic prevailed in Noshki and Panjgur in the aftermath of the terror attacks. People whose houses and shops have closed the locations of the blasts are confined to their homes. A huge contingent of police and frontier corps personnel are on spots to maintain the order.

Terrorists attempted to attack security forces camps at two locations, Panjgur and Naushki, in Balochistan late evening today, the military’s media wing said. Both attacks have been successfully repulsed while inflicting heavy casualties to terrorists.
In Panjgur, Terrorists tried to enter a security forces camp from 2 locations. However, timely response by troops foiled the terrorist attempts, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
During intense exchange of fire one soldier has been martyred. Terrorists have fled while their casualties are being ascertained. In Naushki, Terrorists attempted to enter FC camp which was promptly responded by the forces. Four Terrorists have been killed.

Meanwhile, Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid provided an update on the number of terrorists killed and the soldiers martyred. In a video message on Twitter, he said nine terrorists were killed and four soldiers martyred in Naushki, whereas six terrorists died in the Panjgur attack.
“The terrorists were repulsed from both places and the Pakistan Army kept its tradition [of defeating terrorism] alive. A few — four to five people — are surrounded by them (the army) in Panjgur which the Pakistan Army will defeat. This is a great success that the Pakistan Army has achieved against terrorism.”
