Chief Secretary Balochistan, Abdul Aziz Uqaili on Wednesday said an information commission would be established very soon in the province. The top civilian officer of the province to social media network Twitter said that under the right to information act, an information commission would be established.

Rules of the commission sent to the Balochistan cabinet for approval, the CS mentioned. A committee head by CS Balochistan as the Chairman, Secretary of the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD), Secretary of Law, Secretary of Finance, and Secretary of Information members of the committee established in this regard.

The RTI act aims at empowering the masses and giving them the power to obtain information about government departments in Balochistan.
