QUETTA: In a significant political development, former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif is poised to leave an indelible mark in Quetta as influential electables align themselves with the Pakistan Muslim League (N). Sources reveal that a strategic meeting between Nawaz Sharif and key political figures from Balochistan is on the horizon.
The formal announcement of this political realignment is expected to take place in the presence of the former premier himself. After a five-year hiatus, the Pakistan Muslim League (N) aims to re-establish its influence in Balochistan.
Notable figures, including former provincial ministers from the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP) such as Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, Noor Muhammad Dumar, Sardar Masood Luni, Toor Uthmankhail, and Dr. Rubaba Buledi, recently held discussions with Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, the former Speaker of the National Assembly, in Quetta.
According to Sheikh Jaffar Mandokhail, the Balochistan Chief of the PML N, the details of the collaboration have been finalized, with only the formal announcement pending. This development marks a pivotal moment for the party as it aims to solidify its presence in Balochistan with the support of key political players.
The anticipated meeting between Nawaz Sharif and Balochistan’s electables is expected to reshape the political landscape in the region, adding a new chapter to the political narrative of Pakistan.
