Three girls went missing from Darul Aman Quetta

Three girls went missing from Darul Aman Quetta in the wee hours of Wednesday. Police said two girls belong to Quetta and one is from Ziarat. Police have launched a search operation for the recovery of the missing girl.

Police have also taken the warden of the Darul Aman Quetta into custody after the missing girls. “We are interrogating the warden regarding the incident”, a police official told Daily Quetta Voice. He requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

Soon after the incident, the Secretary of the Social Welfare Department, Abdul Latif Kakar reached Darul Aman and interacted with staff members and inmates about the incident. He visited various sections of Darul Aman to get information about the incident.

“The department has formed an inquiry committee to probe into the incident”, Abdul Latif Kakar, the Secretary of Social Welfare Balochistan said. The committee comprises of Muhammad Hassanullah, the Director-General of Social Welfare Balochistan, Juma Khan Durrani, the Principal Balochistan Disabled Complex Education and Miss Farghana Rubbi, the Director of Directorate of Human Rights Balochistan.

The inquiry committee would submit its report to the government of Balochistan. Secretary Social Welfare informed that the preliminary report about the incident has already been submitted to Chief Secretary Balochistan.
